MAPPING TEST

To make a mapping test, it is sufficient to insert a set of rpms (speed) in which the brake works for a number of seconds imposed. During the test acquisition procedure it will be visible the value of Horsepower and Torque measured to the imposed regimes, with possibility to build, if necessary, the conresponding diagrams.

By this particular data insertion window it's possible to input an arbitrary series of rpm (speed) points or a smaller value, a greatest value and a step. In the points inserted, the eddy current brake works, so acquisition system measure values of Horse-power, Torque and vehicle's Performances real time.

In this example you can see a typical test of mapping. The brake is blocking the engine to 9550 rpm for all necessary time to set the carburation system or ignition system to reach the wished Horsepower and Torque values in the imposed rpms. Naturally they are accessible also other data besides the Horse-power and Torque: in fact it's possible to measure also the exhaust gas temperature or carburetion data from lambda device and the load cell force (see also dynamometer accessories page.). Using the option "OK-Save" user can save the acquired data, that will do part of diagram,  visualized to the end of the mapping. 

 

 

 

 


RUNNING-IN TEST

The test of breaking-in is obtained planning different cycles of running-in after to have communicated the regimes of interest on that the brake station like in the test of mapping.
